  • After feeling drained from her fast-paced life, Anggie moved to Bali and found her path of healing by getting her hands dirty in the garden. This transformative experience inspired her to become ‘Teman Kebun’ at Bhumishanti, a role that goes beyond just farming—she guides and supports others in their journey toward slow living.

For Anggie, Bhumishanti is a healing journey and a welcoming space where she becomes a friend who listens and helps people discover the joy of farming while finding peace within themselves.

  • Born and raised in a family with deep roots in agriculture, Nana naturally developed a green thumb and a passion for farming. He realized that while Bali’s tourism industry is a major driver of the island’s economy, it poses a risk of drifting the younger generation away from farming as developments replace agricultural land.

Bhumishanti is Nana’s way of making farming a valued and respected activity, reminding us all that without farmers, there would be no food on our tables.

  • Golda loves being in nature but admits that the fast pace of modern life often distracts us from the simple joys and lessons that nature offers. Despite food being one of humanity’s basic needs, many people are unaware of how it reaches their tables, highlighting the importance of education in reconnecting with the environment.

Bhumishanti is Golda’s vision—a place of learning that encourages people to rebuild their relationship with nature and embrace a more sustainable way of life.
